Wilderness Gatherings Outdoor School

5 Week Session

Thursdays or Fridays 9 - 11 AM 

Designed for children ages 4–8, with a focus on hands-on, seasonal exploration and small group connection. Mixed-age learning offers a rich, natural rhythm where children can learn from and alongside one another.

Each session includes:
One 2-hour gathering per week for 5 weeks.
Nature-based themes that shift with the seasons.
Sensory exploration, storytelling, movement, and crafts.
Activities designed to spark curiosity, not conformity.
Parent participation that supports, without leading.
• Location: Rotating Kern County nature spots (shared privately after registration).
• This is a shared experience, parents stay on-site and are gently involved as needed to support their child’s exploration. See FAQs for more on what that looks like.
• Liability waiver required before attending.
• Sibling Discount: 10% off each additional child (see below for how to apply).

Please Note:
After registering, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to our waiver form.

• If this is your first time signing up for the 2026–2027 school year, you must complete the waiver within 7 days of purchase to hold your child’s spot.
• If you have already signed the waiver for the 2026–2027 school year, you do not need to sign again.

Because we keep our groups intentionally small, we’re unable to make exceptions. If the waiver isn’t submitted within the 7-day window, your registration will be canceled and refunded so we can offer the space to another family.
